Rocky

We got our new puppy Rocky in June of 2020. This was about 6 months after we lost our first dog at 13 years old. Our first dog was a labrador retriever and we needed a pet that woudn't shed. Welcome Rocky the Goldendoodle from Little Rock, Arkansas. When we first got him, he was 8 weeks old and we were using the food the breeder had been using (Diamond Puppy). I was not happy with how his stool was, so I switched him to the food we had used with our yellow lab, Blue Buffalo. We were on the puppy recipe which was great until about 8.5 - 9 months old. All of a sudden Rocky stopped eating all his food and to get him to eat some was a struggle. He still loved his treats and his personality never changed, so we figured he was just being picky. After talking to Hollywood Feed, we switched him to NutraSource with trout. Initially it seemed like the switch worked but that only lasted a few days. I went back to Hollywood feed and they suggested Honest Kitchen Turkey clusters. After a few days, not only is he eating all his food that we give him, but he gets excited at meal times again. We have to remind him not to jump up while he waits for his food and to sit and wait patiently until we put the bowl down and step out of the way. Thank you Honest Kitchen for making our puppy happy about eating again!
