I got Romeo as a puppy, regrettably from a breeder. He grew up healthy and friendly, but I started noticing him scratching a lot, to the point where he would be coated in oozing sores. I tried everything, better kibbles, medications, vet visits, nothing worked. He started losing hair and continued to scratch all the time. Finally, my vet recommended a grain free/limited ingredient diet. Boy, talk about a change! He stopped scratching only days after starting his raw diet mixed with The Honest Kitchen's Preference dog food. His hair on his neck/chest started to grow back and the sores healed up and went away. I would never switch him back to a normal diet after seeing how well this one works!
