 Rooesvelt / After Roosevelt's heart murmur worsened, our vet advised a lower sodium diet. Finding a quality dog food that fits this bill was quite a challenge! The AFFCO doesn't mandate pet foods to list their sodium content, so I was constantly calling and emailing different manufacturers to get this vital information. The other half of this was getting Roosevelt to eat these foods. In his old age he's become finicky.

nThe Honest Kitchen lists the nutritional breakdown of all their foods online, and two recipes: Marvel and Verve have the kind of sodium levels my dog requires... and my dog willingly eats it!
