Mom says I�ve always had severe food allergies and digestive issues. I�ve struggled w/ chronic diarrhea, vomiting, excessive shedding, and early stages of gingivitis. Mom says I am overly anxious and hypervigilent, but I say, I'm an Aussie! What do you except? We've tried several different vets and holistic vets. I've been misdiagnosed with intestinal blockages, parasites and chicken/lamb/beef/fish food allergies. I've been tested for Addison's Disease and Pancreatitis--both negative. It took 3 recent overnight hospitalizations for mom to finally say ENOUGH! I was fortunate to have escaped exploratory surgery and mom is holding off on the biopsy for Inflammatory Bowel Disease diagnosis. She has tried every premium dog food and while some seem to work for a bit, I inevitably end up with the runs. I've been on anti-inflammatory meds, antibiotics and pre and probiotics. We have tried everything! The vets want me on some hydrolyzed Rx formula but mom is a human dietitian and says that stuff is �a bunch of crap.� Thankfully we found The Honest Kitchen! My symptoms literally improved overnight. That's The Honest Truth. I haven't had diarrhea in over a month, and I no longer run around the yard yelping in pain. Mom doesn't have to use the evil hose on my bottom to wash the yellow mucous away. As it turns out, grain free doesn't work for me.
