This is my girl Roxy. We rescued her in 2008 from a family who lost their home in the California economic down turn. When she came to us she had already had a hard life, having been found in the 2006 fires in Escondido, taken to a shelter where she lived for over 8 months before going home with her first family. When she came to live with us she was over weight and very anxious which made it hard for her to keep her food down. I immediately began feeding her the dehydrated no grain Honest Kitchen. I rotate the proteins so my dogs don't build up a sensitivity to one particular protein source, so I don't remember which one I started her on. Needless to say she LOVED her first bowl full and kept the food down. She immediately began to trim down into this beautiful girl you see in the picture. Roxy is a red nose pit / boxer mix - full of life and energy even to this day. I attribute the quality of Honest Kitchen's food to much of her good health!
