We adopted Rylee when she just came off the track after running 145 races. At the age of 5, as with many track greyhounds, her dental health was awful. After two months at home, Rylee had dental surgery. We were stunned to learn she had 18 teeth removed
We adopted Rylee when she just came off the track after running 145 races. At the age of 5, as with many track greyhounds, her dental health was awful. After two months at home, Rylee had dental surgery. We were stunned to learn she had 18 teeth removed due to the terrible condition of her teeth and gums. Since having her with us, we have fed her Honest Kitchen, the same food we give our other dogs. Luckily for her, and us, we didn't need to change her diet after the procedure because HK can be given as a soft food, even as a soup, if the situation calls for it.
