I started purchasing Honest Kitchen for my puppy a German Shorthaired Pointer upon recommendation from my sister. I decided to try giving it to my senior miniature pincher who has diabetes and has struggled getting insulin regulated, is unable to gain weight and has major skin and loss of fur issues. He has been on Honest Kitchen Whole Grain Chicken Recipe for approximately 3 months. He is gaining weight and the amount of insulin he needs has decreased by half. I now have his weight and insulin under control thanks to the higher quality ingredients in Honest Kitchen versus those in the premium canned and bagged dog food/kibble he used to get.
