Sasha
Maltese — Age 12
Her Royal Highness perched upon one of her many thrones
Our firstborn, Sasha, is going to be a teenager next month. Ever since the day we brought her home, she has been a picky and finicky eater. We've learned over the years to give her plenty of space and time to contemplate her food. We've tried a number of different foods--but no matter what, one thing remains constant: Sasha must bury her food by rubbing her nose towards the plate. It's a silly act, but it's what makes her unique. Three years ago we switched from canned dog food to fresh food. My wife makes fresh meat for Sasha and Lilly on a daily basis, and within the last two years we also starting using certain food items from The Honest Kitchen. Now, each meal includes fresh meat, The Honest Kitchen Clusters, The Honest Kitchen Bone Broth, Cannanine 500MG 0%-THC CBD Oil, Dr. Mercola Curcumin for Cats & Dogs, Dr. Mercola Complete Probiotics for Cats & Dogs, Sunrider Alpha 20C for Liver Enzyme health, Sunrider Fortune Delight and Quinary as superfoods' supplements, and Nordic Naturals Pet Cod Liver Oil. (I'm pretty sure our dogs eat healthier than we do!) Now Sasha eats more regularly, and she seems to really enjoy the clusters after they've been soaked in the bone broth because she's always had sensitive teeth. Both her and Lilly seem to be in above average health for their age (they're both considered seniors at their respective age of 12). So thank you to The Honest Kitchen for providing human quality food products for our dogs. The squeaking of toys and wiggling of butts in anticipation of mealtime says it all!
