Schnauzer — Age 5
Schmitty had routine bloodwork for a dental procedure. I got a phone call that his triglycerides were over 1200. He had been eating a veterinary diet after a bout of pancreatitis last year when he was found to be allergic to beef and chicken. We retested fasting and they were over 800. His Vet said to try a different veterinary diet and was researching them. I happened to go to a pet food seminar and told her I wanted to try the HK Zeal and see if that helped before I tried a new veterinary diet.
He went on the Zeal and a month later his triglycerides were in the normal range. It's a miracle food. Although I will say it took me awhile to get used to the smell!
