Scout

Scout went in for a fatty tumor removal and dental cleaning. During his pre surgery blood work the vet saw that one of his liver enzymes was 1300 points above normal. We decided to take him off cosequin and start him on denamarin. I took it a step further and changed his food from Canidea Pure to Whole Grain Dehydrated chicken formula. After thirty days his liver enzymes improved by just over 1000 points! The vet was super surprised that he improved by that much in just 30 days. He had never seen such a dramatic drop in such a short period of time ever in the 10 years he�s been practicing. I have to attribute some of that to Scout now eating food that has no chemical preservatives and just pure human grade food. I will never go back to kibble ever again. I don�t care if I have to not splurge on myself each month, he and his new 8 month old brother will always eat The Honest Kitchen dog food period.
