She even has a wagon to pull!
The only one in the family who loves the winter
6 years old & still as feisty as ever!
I'm VERY particular with what I feed my dog. My dog has a sensitive stomach, & is protein aggressive. Anything kibble over 30% protein and she gets very aggressive. I dont know why. Thats just how she reacts to high protein food. So, every single bag I have; researched the brand, looked over every food type given, read the ingredients, picked the one(s) with the amount of protein she can handle (20%-28), & made sure it was sensitive stomach/limited ingredient. I also for dry food only. Im not a fan of wet food because its bad for their teeth and having had dogs with dental problems in the past I stay away from wet food. The Honest Kitchen was suggested by the rehab veterinarian (my dog tore her ACL). Without doing my normal research or thinking I said yes. Months of loose stool, constant gas, and a probiotic every day I finally came to a realization. THK dry food wasnt sensitive stomach appropriate. Now, I'M NOT SAYING THK IS A BAD FOOD! It's very good, high quality (little pricey) just not for my dog. She is currently switching over to Canidae Pure because it is formulated for sensitive stomachs. I will probably still use THK Limited Ingredient Dehydrated food as a topper, but no more dry food. As a company I think THK is one of the few best pet foods out there. The ONLY thing I dont like is that they dont offer dry food for cats AND there is no limited ingredient dry food option for either dogs/cats.
