My Sidney has always been fed a very high quality kibble and for the first few years of his life, we had no issues at all. However - over the past year, he developed an extremely sensitive tummy. We were battling loose stools on a daily basis. I tried everything - removing raw ingredients from his diet, adding pumpkin and sweet potatoes and plain oats to his formerly grain free food, supplements. Nothing worked. I even took him to the vet to rule out parasites or health concerns - but all tests came back normal. The only thing that helped a little was plain white rice mixed in - but that was far from a healthy, long term solution. On the suggestion of a friend, I finally turned to The Honest Kitchen. I went with the low-gluten option since it was becoming apparent that Sid needs to have a bit of grain in his diet. I also added the Perfect Form herbal supplement for digestion. Within a week - it was like a different dog! Everything was back to normal.... But - not only was his tummy issue healed - he LOVED THIS FOOD. My Sidney is far from a picky eater (as most Cav parents will tell you)... but he will finish his bowl - and then go back to check at least twice to ensure that there is nothing more he missed.
