Smurfy

We have two westies, Smurfy (5 Years) and Zoey (2 Years). We have had both of them since they were 9 weeks old. Smurfy has a sensitive digestive system. After having multiple cases of diarrhea last January and after one particularly bad one, we were advised by our vet that either we figure out a food that suits him or else he can be on the prescription food for his whole life. At the same time, we realized that Zoey was allergic to grains and chicken, two major ingredients in possibly all the dog food available. While researching what our options are to solve these two major issues, we came across THK food. We liked whatever we read on the website and decided to give it a try hoping that our search would end here. We started giving Smurfy THK's de-hydrated Turkey in January and since then he hasn't had a single episode of bad stomach or diarrhea (touchwood). At the same time, we switched Zoey on the same food but soon realised that she was allergic to Turkey as well. So, we moved her to Beef which has been doing wonders for her. Knowing that they are grain free and human grade quality puts our mind at rest and our pups really jump every single time we take the bags out to feed them. FYI, We just celebrated Smurfy's 5th and Zoey's 2nd and they loved the cake we made using THK's de-hydrated food.
