Sparrow is currently a five-year old Australian Shepherd. I noticed around three years of age she was constantly itching herself. Her coat became dull, and stared to lose its fullness. I also had a hard time managing her weight, it would fluctuate from overweight to being underweight. This was a problem. I show Sparrow in conformation and agility. Plus her itching was driving me insane.The vet said she had a food allergy. I tired her on so many different foods. None of them worked. prescription or natural dry dog foods in the store. Someone told me I should try her on a raw diet. The raw diet approach sounded scary and a lot of effort. I came across Honest Kitchen in a local dog food store. They suggested I try THK. I tried and I love it! its convenient, and makes feeding raw simple. Sparrow has been on THK now and her weight has become more stable, her itching stopped and her coat has its full color and volume back. It is good for her, and she loves the taste. she waits in the kitchen while I make her food.
