Spike had had coat problems for a couple years now. I switched foods numerous times and found that it made a minimal difference. After speaking to a very helpful associate at Felix and Oscar, I decided to try a more natural/raw diet. I chucked the kibble, bought a box of Prowl and some meat and went home to excitedly prepare the first meal of the new diet. I put it down in front of Spike and she stared at it, slightly confused. She spent the next couple hours following me around, wondering when I would put down her real food. A tip from the HK website was very helpful: dunking her paw in it to at least make her try it. After the first taste, she was sold and we never had any feeding issues after that.
nnI noticed a difference in just a couple weeks. Her fur was softer and there was virtually no dander. An now, two years later, her coat is healthy, beautiful and better than ever!
