Tchoupitoulas
We adopted Tchoupitouls (Choppie as we say) in the summer of 2013. While he was not our first bulldog, he was our first rescue and the first with allergies. We didn't know it at the time, but shortly after we adopted him, we realized he had food allergies, mostly to chicken, turkey, grains and a host of other food sensitivities. We consulted a holistic vet after hearing from our more traditional vet they wanted to remove his ear canals because of the severity of the ear infections he suffered through in his short 10 months of life. I wasn't ready to take the leap into raw feeding, so she suggested THK. We've been giving him Fruit and Veggie Base Mix with local beef, venison or buffalo for more than seven years now and we only see the vet for check ups! The quality of the food is exceptional and he doesn't smell like a dog or have issues with tear stains. In fact, we love THK so much, we use the bone broth to heat his food, the Liver Chips and the Jerky Harvest Bars for doing eye drops. I recommend THK to adopters and foster parents in my work with bulldog rescue.
