Tor

Tor has been eating Honest Kitchen dehydrated (with grains) his whole life. He does have sensitivities to some proteins, so it is great to have a variety to choose from. Tor was diagnosed with LarPar, also knows as GOLPP (paralyzed larynx) at the age of 12. He had a very successful tie-back surgery. The great thing about him already being on Honest Kitchen dehydrated is it is the perfect consistency for LarPar dogs. After surgery, these dogs are supposed to be fed meatballs of food, by hand, for a number of weeks. This food made it super convenient and easy for me to do this. Now that he is out of the danger zone, I mix his food to a nice sticky consistency, then feed it to him in a raised bowl. The photo of him is at age 12, participating in an hour long hike about 4 weeks post-surgery. When I had feeding questions, I reached out to Honest Kitchen and quickly got a caring response.
