nI have 4 dogs - Trixie, Harley, Tucker and Diesel. We have tried all manner of foods for my pups to keep them healthy and looking and feeling their best. We've done high end and middle end mixed protein and LID kibble, raw, other dehydrated foods.....you name it. Nothing has ever really given then the results that we were looking for. That is, until now.

nA friend of mine was looking for an option to feed her usually raw fed dogs and came upon The Honest Kitchen and began using it with her dogs. I thought, hey, I always had great results, why not try it on my crew!

nYou see, I was a previous THK believer when I had my husky mixes, who sadly passed away 5 1/2 years ago and this was the only food they would consistently eat once their health began to fail. Bear was diabetic and had a seizure disorder and most commercial foods would give him huge swings in his blood sugars or increase the frequency in which he would have seizures. It was always a balancing act. Nanook developed nasal cavity cancer and at the end, could only be spoon fed soft foods. THK always fit the bill for my beautiful boys. For some silly reason, after they passed away, I decided to go back to a kibble based diet as I was now a new mother and my time was limited.

nMy 4 pups now, have no health issues other than some bad teeth and potential food allergies. I tried the raw diet route, but with little kids running around and limited freezer space, it just didn't end up being a viable option. My pups also didn't always like what was on the menu! Enter, The Honest Kitchen! It is quite difficult to source in my area, but there are a couple of retailers who carry it regularly and can order in whatever formulation I am looking for. I started on a box of Keen as that was what was readily available. I have never seen my guys dance for their supper the way they do for THK. Even on raw, they loved it, but didn't actually DANCE!

nAs I was nearing the end of the first box, I noticed differences in their overall condition - better smelling breath, tear stains reducing, less itchiness and softer, shinier coats. All that, after just one box!

nI now have THK dogs for life. Thank you for making such a wonderful product and never skimping on the good stuff to make a few extra dollars. 6 years ago you had an amazing product, and now it's even better because there is more options - all with the same dedication to keeping our companion animals happy and healthy!
