Winston has always had a sensitive tummy and has been diagnosed with pancreatitis several times, one time almost killing him. We knew we had to do better for him with his diet so we started researching different foods to try that would be better for him. Honest Kitchen was at the top of the list. But what actually sealed the deal is that while at a park one day, we noticed this Australian Shepherd dog running around, loving life and being very playful. As you do at the dog park, we struck up a conversation with the owner about their dog. First thing we asked was How old is your puppy?, thinking it was probably less than a year or so. When he said their dog was nearly 12 years old, we couldn't believe it. 2nd question was OMG, what are you feeding him? thinking that this dog had incredible vitality for his age and truly acted like a puppy. Well, they were feeding him Honest Kitchen base mixed with raw human-grade meat from the pet store. The owner explained that they noticed a difference in their dog soon after feeding him this food. So we made up our mind to try it, and we haven't looked back! Winston loves it! He rarely has stomach issues anymore, people are amazed that he is almost 9 years old and also mistake him for a puppy every time we are at the dog park.
