Winter

Winter was hospitalized 3x in 2016 for UTI and bladder infections. The 3rd was the worst and she spent 3 days in the ER. I started researching foods at that time that would be similar to my grain free and holistic diet she currently ate. I was about to give up and just go raw when I caught the name Honest Kitchen in a raw feeding blog. After reading up on the base mixes and asking the awesome HK people questions I started her on the base mixes. I alternate them. I add my own meat and since I hydrate it myself I can guarantee she�s getting enough fluid to flush her system. It�s been 2years and not one recurrence of infections. My other dogs have great teeth, coats and I don�t have an overweight Chihuahua issue either. I recommend the food highly. If you think of feeding raw the bases guarantee you get nutritionally balanced meals without worrying.
