sourced from the human food supply chain and the facility where the food is made meets the same standards required for human food production. Meanwhile,
standard pet food is only required to meet the quality & safety standards of “feed” for livestock. The human grade standard results in increased safety, quality, and ingredient integrity compared to conventional pet food.

wheat and soy. We’re thoughtful with our ingredient sourcing – only working

Yes! Most of our recipes are complete and
balanced for specific life stages and can be fed as a full diet when used as directed. Some recipes can also be used as toppers.
We recommend a gradual 7–10 day transition:
•Start with a small amount mixed into current food
•Gradually increase THK while decreasing old food
•Monitor digestion and adjust as needed
Many picky pets love The Honest Kitchen’s food because it smells and tastes like real, whole food (since it’s made with real, whole foods!). For very picky eaters, try adding warm water to enhance aroma or start with smaller portions mixed into their current food.
