How many calories are there per treat? How many is the recommended amount per day- I was thinking 2 or 3 max: Hi Elena, Unfortunately, since our treats are meant for supplemental feeding and are not complete & balanced meals, we do not run a full analysis on them. Sorry about that! However, we do not add any extra vitamins or minerals to our treats than what is naturally occurring from the ingredients used in them. Suggested feeding amount is up to you 2-3 max is perfectly okay! Hope this helps!
Why is there vanilla in these treats? Everything I’ve seen online says not to give dogs vanilla. There appears to be no benefit other than making them smell good to humans.: Hi there, Thank you for reaching out to us! The vanilla used in the goat's milk cookies is directly from the vanilla bean. In its pure form, vanilla is perfectly safe for dogs to eat, we use a very small amount in our goat's milk cookies overall. What you want to avoid is vanilla extract, since extract is made with alcohol which is very dangerous for pups. The main reason we add vanilla to these cookies is for its antioxidant and anti inflammatory properties. Hope this puts your mind at rest! :)
