Hip & Joint Pour Over Helps Keep My Oldster Young

"My Toy Spaniel just turned 11 years old last week but still plays with his toys like a young dog. About a year ago he started sitting in front of me with big sad eyes to ask that I help him up onto his favorite sofa next to me. I started him on the Hip & Joint Stew and now he able hop up or down on the sofa himself again!"

Okay

"My dog doesn’t seem to like this topper as good as the pumpkin one so I hope it truly helps her joints"

Great pupsicle filling

"My dog LOVE's these pour overs. I don't use them as a topper, I use them with her woof party pupsicle puzzle toy. One carton is almost enough for the four pupsicle mold. I just top it off with a little bit of water. She gets supper excited to lick the carton and later work her way through her puzzle. Never leaves a drop!"

I mix this in with

"I mix this in with my frenchies food (Honest Kitchen Whole Grain for Small Dogs) and he loves it :) I add just enough to cover 1/2 cup of dry food."

Ashleigh A. (5/5)

She loves it!

"Our 13-year-old Border Collie has become very picky about her food in the past 6 months. She tore both of her back leg tendons about 2 months apart last winter and was in pain and could barely walk. We took her to an Osteopathic Vet who's has worked wonders with her, without expensive surgeries! She is now walking again and eating! With all of this, she has become VERY picky about her food so I'm trying multiple toppers on her dry food our vets recommended which is a Prescription Mobility food. I just found the Hip & Joint Pour Over last month and she loved the 1st carton I poured over her food. The next day I poured it on again and she licked all of the Pour Over off of the dry food. So, she loves the Hip & Joint Pour Over, but she won't eat her dry food now. I'm even mixing both of them together, hoping she will eat it ALL! But she's just not cooperating! I guess it's just that TASTY! At least she's getting the Hip & Joint Pour Over every day to help her mobility issues."

Great for a picky eater

"Seems to be well liked by a picky eater. A little messy to portion out"

Katherine H. (4/5)

Great item!

"Why did I wait so long to try this??? I’ve been a loyal THK since the 1990’s, and I highly recommend all their products. My 2 dogs are now seniors, so I thought I’d boost their evening nutrition. They very much enjoy their evening pour-over! Easy to feed; we use 1/2 carton each night."

Q&A

Do you warm this up? If so what is the proper way? Or serve room temperature?
Hi, you can store at room temp and serve, you can also add a little warm water if prefered.
Hi! Does the Hip & Joint pour over contain any sodium? If yes, how much? I know that neither sodium or salt are listed as ingredients, but I read that there can still be sodium in bone broth. My dog loves this pour over, but she needs to be on a low sodium diet. Thanks!
Hi Jennifer, Thank you for reaching out to The Honest Kitchen. I hope you are doing well. As most of our toppers, treats, and supplements are not complete diets we, unfortunately, do not have the exact percentages for this product. Any sodium would be naturally occurring, though, as we do not add any to this product. Please let me know if you have any other concerns. All the best,
