"I purchased this because my two 13 yr old orange tabbys have gotten sluggish and chubby on their other canned food. One of them gets ballder crystals and hates the prescription food. I purchased this as a way to see if the better quality of food will help his hydration and possibly keep him going freely and without distress. So far so good. I also purchased the dehydrated food as a backup as another customer said his cat had bladder crystals and that food helped keep him off expensive prescription food that the cat didn't even like. I am also hoping it helps with their energy levels and overall longevity. So far, the gobble it up! They were not doing that to their old food, which was a sign that is probably wasn't good for them."

We use either Icelandic Catfish, or Haddock, Cod and Pollock (sourced in North America)-- depending on availability and sustainability. Our wild-caught Cod is caught off the coast of Alaska. Alaskan (Pacific) Cod is MSC (Marine Stewardship Council) certified and classified as a ‘Best Choice’ by Seafoodwatch.org. Our Alaskan Pollock is also MSC Certified and classified as a ‘Good Alternative’ by Seafoodwatch.org. Our fish are pulled from the fishing vessels directly into the local port, processed, and dried in Iceland and the United States, respectively. The dried fish from Iceland is shipped straight to the USA's East Coast, specifically for The Honest Kitchen. We don't use any tuna in our products. Hope this info helps!
