Great Transition Topper!

"I just relocated my dog back to the United States after living in Japan for two years. I was a bit nervous about how well her digestive system was going to do when transitioning back to American life after the long plane ride and car ride back to our hometown in Tennessee. The turkey and pumpkin topper was a great topper to use to help get her the tummy help that comes with putting pumpkin on dog food. My dog is not a huge fan of pumpkin, but LOVES turkey so it was a great addition to her food and helping her adjust to her new food here. We love Honest Kitchen!"

Makes meal interesting for picky eater

"Our 3 year old Dalmatian can be very picky so we add this to each of her breakfasts and she goes right at it - plus gets extra nutrients. We use Grain Free Dehydrated Turkey The Honest Kitchen and add other human protein ie: eggs, cottage cheese etc."

Robert J. (5/5)

I Was a Bit Worried They Wouldn’t Like It - What Was I Thinking?

"My boys have been enjoying Lamb and Beef Stew pour overs for a while now so I thought I’d try something different. I knew they would love the turkey but the pumpkin concerned. Wasted worry for sure. They get two meals a day, and whether clusters or dehydrated, they LOVE the taste of these. I don’t time it, but I think they eat faster with this pour over than the beef and lamb. Will definitely be buying more in the future, as well as the beef and lamb. The content of the containers is like a stew and easy to use."

Pumpkin Pour Over favorite

"Our Shih Tzu loves his pumpkin! He would lick his fluff truff long after all his meals have been devoured!"

Hazel T. (5/5)

Great for my picky eaters with allergies!

"I use this as it states. A pour over their dry food! The seem to love the taste. They have allergies so I have to be careful with what they eat and have had no problems. it is super convenient and the consistency of a thick soup with veg chunks. I had a hard time before trying to find something they would both like!"

Virginia A. (5/5)

The doggos love it!

"Dogs love it. For me, the human, it's so much better than feeding wet dog food."

"My dog seem to love some of these flavors others I’m not so sure about yet, but I do like the convenience of something nutritious for them and shelf stable"

A tasty addition to kibble

"When I add this to my 2 pups dry kibble, they gobble up quickly, a good sign! Will definitely purchase again."

Q&A

Is this product high in sodium or phosphorus? I have a dog who is supposed to be on a kidney specific diet.
Hi there, Thank you for reaching out to The Honest Kitchen. I hope you are doing well. As most of our toppers, treats, and supplements are not complete diets, we do not have the exact percentages for this product. Any sodium and phosphorus would be naturally occurring, though, as we do not add any to this product. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other concerns. All the best,
Is this product cat safe as well?
Hi there, Thank you for your inquiry. To put it simply, no. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend feeding our cat foods to your dog or vice versa. Their nutritional needs are different, I'm afraid. The cat foods are nutritionally designed for the needs of cats, not dogs (and vice versa). The balance of nutrients will not be correct to support your little one's body system; things like protein, fat, carbohydrate taurine, and other vitamins and minerals will not be correct. I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, please let me know!
I have a 6 month old, 35 pound puppy how often should I be giving him the pumkin with turkey pour over and the goats milk probiotic powder?
Hi there Maria, Thanks for reaching out to us! Since the pour overs & goat's milk are meant for supplemental use you are more than welcome to use as needed or on a daily basis!
