"Two very adult (one is senior) pups. I use the Honest Kitchen dehydrated food daily, mixing grain free beef and whole grain turkey equally, then feeding once in the morning and once in the evening. Every other day or so, I’ll split one of these pour overs between them … one would think they hadn’t eaten in days! I will certainly keep buying them (just wish there were more flavors without chicken - my senior dog is allergic)."

Yes, It is perfectly okay to use the pour-over for your pup's freezer lick pads. You can freeze the pour-overs, wet food, or dehydrated (after you add water) to them. Since our Pour Overs are not complete and balanced diets, they are meant to be supplemental and wouldn't be considered fully complete and balanced on their own. Our Pour Overs are simply meant to boost your pet's bowl with some extra nutrients and taste. You can add as little or as much of the topper as you would like. The Superfood Pour overs are not complete and balanced meals on their own and are intended to be use as a topper either daily or on an as needed basis. The One Pot Stews are complete and balanced meals on their own, but can also be used as a topper if you have a bigger dog! The One Pot Stew consistency is a chunky texture vs the pour overs is more of a liquid texture.
