We adopted Gracie three years ago when she was 12-15lbs underweight and ribs showing. She's a very sweet Boxer/AmStaff mix who went unadopted in a kennel for 2 years before we rescued her. Since she has a chicken allergy, we had to be very careful about which food to give her. So, when someone recommended Honest Kitchen, we decided to try it. After a couple of weeks, we noticed a big change in Gracie's coat - it was really shiny and soft. Her energy levels were also puppy-like, despite the fact that she was 4 years old and underweight. Now that we've had her on the HK diet for three years, we can say with confidence that this food is high quality and nourishing. (Her annual blood tests are always great!) She loves eating it, too.
