Milo’s been scratching a lot and recently experienced aural hematoma. He’s 9 years old and did not want to take a chance of having him put to sleep to fix aural hematoma. I chose to have his aural hematoma to be drained, with antibiotic prescription in case of infection. Figuring out the source of itching, frequently shaking his ears and scooting his bum across the carpet is critical for his ears not to get worse. I started eliminating treats, chews and even supplements, then what’s left was his food. A local store recommended honest kitchen cluster and goats milk. A week later, less scratches and an excited tail every morning. I’m glad my baby is no longer itchy and he’s a happy furry baby again :)
