Bam Bam getting a hug from Freddie
Bam Bam was a rescue dog we adopted from the Coast to Coast Dachshund Rescue about 11 years ago. When she joined our family she was only 6 pounds, frightened, and being treated for mange. Freddie, our AKC titled dachshund, quickly became one of her best friends and with care, she began to thrive. Now, years later, she is a senior citizen, has lost most of her teeth, and has arthritis. Our vet said that Bam Bam would need to stay on soft dog food and a local pet store recommended The Honest Kitchen. We sampled both Revel and Keen and our little Bam Bam loves both! In fact, she gobbles her food down and tries to sneak and grab Freddie's food as well. Since we started her on The Honest Kitchen food, she has shown more energy and no apparent suffering from arthritis. In fact she jumps and dances when it's dinner time!
