Lion around
I was blessed with this special little man when a feral cat had a litter in my parents back yard. He was so afraid at first and slept in the bookshelf for the first few days. That's how he got his name, Bookshelf. :) He has become such a smart cat. He can walk on a leash, heel, sit, stay, jump up and down on command, high five, touch left and right, speak on command and much more. He became a little over weight at one point, about 3 years old. He loves his crunchy food. I was feeding Blue at the time. Great food, I was just feeding him the wrong type for an indoor cat. I did some research and decided to start him on a raw diet. I love that I could add as much water as I wanted. My kitty does not drink as much water as he should. I have tried everything to try to get him to drink more. I have also tried every wet food out there. Lots of concerns with that subject! From meat by-products to BPA. Too much to get into now. Honest Kitchen has been great! Bookshelf has lost two and a half pounds . That is quite a bit for a cat. He is now nice and slender at sixteen point four pounds. Still a large yet very healthy cat. He also brought his dangerously high blood sugar down. thank you so much Honest Kitchen!!!
