GABBYLICIOUS

"We chose The Honest Kitchen after our dog Gabrielle became picky with her kibble, and we’re so glad we did! After just 4 days, Gabby is excited for mealtime again. Her fur already feels softer, and the redness in one eye is starting to clear up. She’s one happy pup!"

Boys love it

"I've had my boys on the honest kitchen for a while now and they love it, turkey and beef clusters. Only food that has real ingredients in it and clusters big enough for my old English mastiffs."

My dog loves this food

"My dog loves this food and is so healthy for her! I searched for 4 months for a good food that wouldn't break the bank and I finally found it. Looking forward to a long-term relationship with this company."

Julie H. (5/5)

Healthier Active Pup!

"When we first got Bull Terrier Husky Mix, he wasn’t very active, he had digestive issues, and he was a bit on the skinnier side. We were told he was on a store brand dog food, which didn’t last long once I was told by my mother-in-law about The Honest Kitchen. We were so thankful to have made the switch to this brand, which in such little time brought us the most energetic, happy, healthy, crazy boy we have today! We were shocked when his new personality showed up and fell in love. What we also love about this brand is the variety of recipes they have for all allergies, nutritional needs, etc! Our boy tends to not react well to beef, pork, or chicken, so the turkey recipe has been absolutely amazing! He also absolutely loves the Goat Milk and Blueberry treats. When we try to give him other treats he tends to be very picky haha! No more digestive issues, increased energy, and improved health overall! Thank you!"

"My Zuchon has a super sensitive IBS tummy. The Honest Kitchen’s Grain Free Turkey Whole Food Clusters are perfect for her! No tummy issues, and she seems to think they’re the tastiest thing next to her boiled turkey and rice tummy fix up. I highly recommend trying these, your fur baby will love you for it!!"

Quality ingredients

"I use these for a snack for my dog and also for an occasional meal, aside from her regular food. Sometimes I soak them for thirty minutes or so, chop them up, and feed to my dog this way."

Sally W. (5/5)

I changed my dog to this and he thrived

"I have a 7 year old whippet chihuahua. After moving him to this his dark circles around his eyes and stained tears completely went away. He started going to the bathroom normally and overall seemed happier. SO glad I made the move."

Q&A

How long is the food in the bag safe to eat after opening? I'm considering if I should get the larger 20lb bag but wouldn't want it to spoil.
Hi Vladimir, Thank you for reaching out to The Honest Kitchen. I hope you are doing well. Our foods have a shelf life of 12 months, depending on ambient temperatures and humidity. We guarantee our foods for 12 months from the date of manufacturing printed on the top of the box even after opening. The Best Buy date reflects this 12-month shelf life. I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions! Thanks,
If I’m feeding my pup your beef recipe but want to try your turkey recipe the following month, do I have to transition her how I would normally transition her when exchanging her food?
Hi Edward, Thank you for reaching out to The Honest Kitchen. I hope you are doing well. We always like to err on the side of caution when switching between recipes, especially if the ingredients are new to your dog, so a short transition is recommended. Unlike traditional transition guidelines, this process shouldn't take more than a meal or two. I would start with ½ and ½, but feel free to adjust the amount to suit your pup’s individual needs. Once you know that the new recipe agrees with your pup, you're welcome to rotate freely between the two. Rotating between different recipes can also keep things interesting for your dog. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other concerns. All the best,
For old small dogs?
This recipe is formulated to be complete and balanced for all life stages. For dogs that can only eat very small pieces, we recommend our small breed blends: https://www.thehonestkitchen.com/search?q=small%20breed
How many cups per pound of the clusters?

How many Kcals/kg is this food?
Hi there, Thanks for reaching out to us! There is 427 kcals per cup in the Grain Free Turkey clusters.

Frequently Asked Questions

Each pound of Whole Food Clusters equates to about 4 dry cups of food.

Find your dog's daily feeding amount using the feeding guidelines.

Divide that amount by the total dry cups in your chosen box (see below).

1 lb bag= 4 dry cups
4 lb bag= 16 dry cups
5 lb bag= 20 dry cups
10 lb bag = 40 dry cups
20 lb bag = 80 dry cups

Example:

A 30 lb dog with an average activity level is recommended 1.5 dry cups per day.

If you purchase a 10 lb bag (40 dry cups), it will last 27 days.

All of our Clusters recipes are 100% human grade and made using our MadeHonest™ process—which cold-presses, roasts, and gently dehydrates each batch to lock in nutrition and flavor. They’re crafted in a human food facility with high safety and quality standards and never include GMO ingredients or fillers like corn, wheat, or soy.

The key differences come down to ingredients, protein and variety:

  • Essential Clusters are made with healthy whole grains, high-quality protein, and the essential vitamins and minerals dogs need to thrive. They’re ideal for adult and senior dogs and include dual-protein options.
  • Whole Food Clusters build on that foundation with added superfoods like broccoli, kale, and carrots for extra health benefits. They also feature mostly single-protein recipes and are boosted with probiotics to support digestion. This line also includes options tailored to puppies and small breed dogs.
  • Protein Plus+ Clusters are dual-protein recipes that are highest in protein content. They also include added probiotics and are crafted to support many health benefits for puppies and adult dogs.

Both our Dehydrated and Clusters diets are complete and balanced and 100% human grade, so you aren't sacrificing quality when you choose between the two. Where they differ is in how they are made and how they are served.

Whole Food Clusters is our answer to "kibble." They're made by us in our own human grade facility using a proprietary MadeHonest™ process. We cold press, roast and gently dehydrate each golden delicious cluster to maintain the nutrients, aroma, and taste of our whole food ingredients.

And, unlike our dehydrated foods, there's no need to add water before serving, just simply scoop and serve!

Being human grade means that every ingredient in The Honest Kitchen's pet food meets the same safety and quality standards required for human food.

Our suppliers must adhere to strict guidelines, including human-edible status from harvest through production, adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices, non-GMO ingredient usage, and freedom from chemicals or adulterants.

Each supplier provides a signed 'Human Food Grade Guarantee' and undergoes audits to ensure compliance.

Additionally, it means that all of our foods are manufactured in a facility that meets all the safety standards of human food facilities.

All of our products are backed by our 90 day money-back guarantee. If your pet doesn't like the food, please contact our customer support team at questions@thehonestkitchen.com.
